Bachelor’s degree in behavioral healthcare required. Case Management Certification required within 90 days of hire date.Description:
The purpose of the Case manager position is to provide outpatient social services linkage, emergency intervention and crisis intervention services. Will provide advocacy, consultation and educational services to Pine Belt Mental Healthcare Resources’ consumers. Case Managers must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age and the needs of the consumer served; Demonstrates knowledge of diagnosis, signs and symptoms of relapse, medication information , and knowledge of community resources to explore all alternatives to hospitalization; and to provide the care needed as required by DMH and PMBHR standards.
